Walnut Creek Bathroom Remodel - Hall and Primary Bath
Scope: This couple needed to remodel their primary and hall bathrooms in their 1960s rancher located in the citrus neighborhood of Walnut Creek. Their primary shower required the most remodeling since its 36” x 36” size made it essentially unusable and cramped their style. To address this, we moved their furnace to the attic to create a more open and usable shower space. The addition of Mid-Century vanities added the perfect touch. In the hall bath, we removed the pocket door to create a more spacious room. These bathrooms now showcase a contemporary Mid-Century look.
Features: Both bathrooms have decorative accent tile walls in the showers, arranged in a vertical stack pattern. The Willow Bath and Vanity vanities stand out with their Mid-Century Modern legs. The terrazzo flooring in the primary bath is stunning and complements the overall aesthetic. The Dune tile in the guest bath adds visual interest and creates a fun atmosphere. Globe light fixtures are featured in both bathrooms to tie in the design scheme. The hall bath faucets and fixtures feature the Moen Eva collection, and the primary bath features the Moen Voss collection. Additionally, a West Elm recessed vanity mirror maximizes space in the primary bath and adds extra storage. I believe we successfully achieved the requested "more modern than Mid-Century" look!
